There is only ONE God; the Creator of the heavens and the earth and all mankind, manifested to mankind as Father (Creator), Son (Redeemer), and Holy Ghost (Indwelling Spirit). (Romans 8:11)

God is a Spirit (John 4:24), the Eternal One, the Creator of ALL THINGS; and, of course, all men; thus making Him our Father (Matthew 6:9). He is the One who loved the world so much that He gave His only Son (John 3:16).

Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Matthew 1:23). He is the revelation and manifestation of the Word made flesh (John 1:1-4), co-equal and co-existent, with the Father, and the Holy Ghost. Jesus is God manifested in the flesh (I Timothy 3:16). He is one with the Father (John 10:30) and is the only begotten of the Father.

The Holy Ghost is the manifestation of the Spirit of God (The Creator), and of the resurrected Christ, coming to dwell in the hearts and lives of men who will be obedient to the Gospel, as the Comforter, Sustainer, and Keeper (John 14:16-26; Romans 8:1).

The Bible is the Word of God. It is a message from God by the Spirit to Man. The Holy Spirit is the author of the whole Bible having breathed into men the inspiration to receive and communicate divine Truth (II Timothy 3:16-17). The Bible is one book, having one subject, one Author, and many writers. The Bible is the living Word of God; it is eternal and will stand forever (I Peter 1:24-25).

Original Sin is the corruption of the Adamic nature referred to in Scripture as the carnal mind or the flesh (Romans 7:17, 8:6-8). Original sin cannot be overcome by mere force or human will; it must be eradicated by the Holy Spirit through the blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 9:14, 10:29, 13:12; I John 1:7). Original sin brings every man under the penalty of death (Romans 5:12), and only Christ can deliver from the penalty of death and restore Man to divine favor and give everlasting life (John 3:16-19).

Salvation consists of deliverance from all sin and unrighteousness through the blood of Jesus Christ. It is obtained by the believer’s confessing with their mouth the Lord Jesus and believing in their heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).

Justification is God’s judicial work done for Man, whereby full pardon is granted to all who repent, believe and receive Jesus Christ and Lord and personal Savior (Acts 10:43; Romans 3:24-26).

Regeneration is a spiritual transformation wrought in the heart of the penitent by the Holy Spirit. It is manifested by victory over the world (I John 5:4-5), by a life of righteousness made possible by gaining victory over sin (Romans 6:14), and by regulating one’s relationship with all men according to the will of God (I John 4:7-8).

Sanctification is the act of God, through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, bringing the believer’s will under the subjection to God’s will. To be sanctified is to be set apart. Sanctification is progressive and continuous. As the believer grows in grace, he or she continues to surrender more areas of his or her life to the refining process of the Holy Spirit.

Water Baptism is an ordinance of the Church commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ. Water baptism is a confirmation or symbol of a believer’s faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible instructs us to baptize through immersion (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:14-21; Romans 6:1-7), and The Mount Calvary Holy Church of America, Inc. baptizes candidates “In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost…in Jesus’ Name. Amen.”

The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is the gift of God through Christ Jesus to the children of God. One of the evidences of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost is the gift of speaking in other tongues.

After salvation we are commanded to “go and sin no more” (John 8:11). We are commended to live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world (Titus 2:12), and we are called upon to present ourselves holy unto God (Romans 12:1). It is the power of the Holy Spirit that helps us to accomplish our goal of living a life that is holy and acceptable unto God.

The blood of Jesus Christ purchased divine healing for the Church, especially through His stripes (Isaiah 53:5; I peter 2:24). Our Lord gave us the example traveling everywhere and healing the sick (Matthew 4:23-24), and He commanded His disciples to do the same (Matthew 10:8).

Jesus shall return to this earth in bodily form just as He went away to receive His Bride, the Church (Acts 1:11).

There shall be a resurrection of the dead, both the just and the unjust (John 5:28-29).

We partake of the Lord’s Supper to memorialize the Lord’s death until he returns (I Corinthians 11:23-31). The Bread represents the broken body of our Lord and the Cup symbolizes His blood, which was shed for our sins.

Marriage is the first and noblest of human contracts divinely instituted by God when He spoke the nuptial words to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Marriage is not to be entered into lightly and is a solemn vow between one man and woman. Therefore, a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife and the two shall become one flesh.

Jesus sets forth the only divinely accepted reason for divorce and remarriage as being due to sexual immorality (Matthew 19:4,6; Mark 10:6,9). Divorce is not preferred, as God Himself instituted marriage. However, Scriptures do provide for divorce in certain circumstances.

The Sacrament of Humility is the Washing of the Saints’ feet. Jesus gave us the example of feet washing and commanded us to do as He had done (John 13:4-17).
